Meet Megan

I have more than ten years of experience editing, proofreading, and writing for membership-based organizations, higher education institutions, and others.

I am proficient with the Chicago Manual of Style and the Associated Press Stylebook, and I have worked with the American Psychological Association, American Medical Association, and Catholic News Service style guides.

I am an active member of ACES: The Society for Editing, and I regularly attend the conference and other trainings to keep abreast of the latest trends and techniques in language and editing.

I have a B.A. in English and history from Hollins University in Roanoke, VA, and an MFA in creative writing and publishing arts from the University of Baltimore.

Megan has been an incredible resource for our university communications team. The edits she is asked to manage can be difficult—our university style guidelines are specific and unique, but she adopted them effortlessly and immediately became one of our team’s trusted editors.
